ACM launches another green community in Batangas

Last Feb. 26, residential housing expert ACM launched its newest sustainable green community, Mahogany Place Lipa, through an unveiling ceremony and a tree planting activity in Baranggay Kayumanggi, Lipa, Batangas.

It was well-attended by officials and employees of ACM and its partner institutions, including the Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC), Land Bank of the Philippines and Pag-IBIG. About 200 students from Malayan Colleges were also present in the event.

The day began with a mass by Fr. Jojo Gonda and Fr. Totit Mandanas followed by a series of opening remarks by ACM's Managing Directors, Ms. Carol Osteria and Ms. Antonette de Guzman, and PTC's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gerardo Borromeo. Mahogany Place Lipa is a product of the strong partnership between ACM and PTC.

Officials of ACM and its partners led the unveiling of the new MPL signage in the community entrance. Simultaneously, the students planted more than 50 trees to signify both ACM and PTC's unwavering commitment to make a difference by providing affordable quality homes in environmentally-friendly communities. More than 400 guests were then treated to a sumptuous lunch, which was then followed by an open house event.

ACM Homes also plans to build unique amenities to complement its goal of celebrating healthy and sustainable living. Aside from creating a greenhouse, they will also be constructing an outdoor gym and a bamboo forest-inspired playground for families to enjoy.

The guests also experienced the cool climate and relaxed atmosphere of the neighborhood, combined with the conveniences of urban living. They also saw the breathtaking view of Mt. Malarayat from the charming houses in the community.
